Winger Lewis Hamilton has left the club to join Sussex County League Division 1 rivals Selsey.

Hamilton made 19 appearances for the first team this season although nearly half of those were from the substitutes bench and moves to Selsey under his former manager at Pagham, Gary Block in search of a more regular starting role.

He joined the Mullets in late March of this this year from Pagham, making his debut as a substitute in the 3-1 away win at Hailsham before going onto start 3 games and make a further 6 substiture appearances to help the club achieve its highest league position since 1987 and earn a runners up medal.

His only goal for the club came on the opening day of this season when he struck the first goal in the 2-0 win over Mile Oak and Hamilton won’t have long to wait to return to Mill Road as his new clubs visits his old in a Division 1 match on Tuesday 8th December.
